Default yamaha warrior cutting out under hard throttle

2001 warrior, having starting problems as posted before but when I pop start it and get it all warmed up it will cut out when I push the throttle down lets say anywhere past the half mark. Could this be a dirtying carb, maybe spray some carb cleaner in it? I just replaced the needle valve in carb and made sure I had new gas in it. Let me know your thoughts.

If you are still using the stock airbox and lid look in the snorkle under the tank. I had a "dirt dobber" or "mud wasp" build a nest in mine that serverlly cut down the air flow.

I have a friend that is having that same trouble. Have you figured out what it was/is? The bike shop told him it might be the parking brake switch......sounded odd to me but who knows.

Thanks man....I did some research and found that there are alot of other warrior riders that have this problem. We finally got it fixed. It was the parking brake. It needed tightened. The Rev Limiter, I believe that is what it is called. Do a search on the yamaha forum and you'll find it.

Good luck, hope you get it fixed so you can ride.
