Erie Colorado is hosting an ATV safety course on Saturday Aug. 06, 2005. there is one at 0900 and one at 1:30 P.M. call 1-800-887-2887 to reserve a spot. Erie is just north of Denver. I will be there. And, most manufacturers will give you $100.00. A good deal if you ask me.

 

The course was cancelled after we had already been there and were baking in the sun for an hour. This course was held an hour and a half away from my house at an ATV park. A few other riders drove close to the course and the instructors closed it down. It has to be re-scheduled. I was highly p!ssed.

 

I have been trying to get my 8 year old in the course up there for 3 years now, they never call back (ATV safety institute) I called the instructor, I was told they never have enough kids to run the course, I am also pissed off at this outfit.

i learned everything over my computer..off a CD and then i took my test on there, went to a ATV jam that was going to have a safty course, gave them my sheet and i had passed, then i went out, did my course, and got my ATV safty a month later in the mail[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

They were supposed to get back to the FOUR ppl that attended. So far..... I am wondering if this deal is for real. They set up cones, give you a bunch of acronyms to remember, and then close the course.

 

I do not think they push the training around here the way they do in other states. After camping this weekend and seeing 3 people riding on 1 quad with no helmets several times, they need to push it a lot more !

and i got my ATV safty so i could legally ride ditches w/some1 over like 18 and then i can go to DNR riding pits w/guys over 18 legally as well[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

i took my atv safety course i got a card and everything now i am able to leagaly ride on trails now [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] the course is pretty simple you have to read the rules (commen sence), ride around pilons (slolem) and like drive over logs and stuff it was pretty fun I really recomend that parents send there kids there. I know when i have kids i'm going to send them so a course.

 

They still haven't contacted me. It has been over a month now. I am going to call them in the am and find out what the deal is.
