Default GPS tracking devices

Yes I have recently had my foreman stollen. I am now in the market for a new but was thinking of putting a GPS tracking devices on it so that I can track it down if someone takes it. Does anyone have any info such a device that would be worth making the investment. I know there out there I just don't have any experience with them. Thanks

That's pretty cool for keeping track of your teenager or maybe a wayward spouce, but I don't thing it would work for tracking a stolen ATV. From the FAQ:

"Can I use this system for stolen vehicle recovery?

No. You need a real time tracking system to do that. Real time tracking systems are more expensive and require a monthly service fee."

You have to recover the device and download the data to your PC with this thing.

My bad I am familiar with the low jack system that they are referring to that can track a stolen car. The problem with that system is, your local law enforcement needs to have the antennae system installed on their vehicles to do the tracking If they do not have it, check with low jack. In the past, low jack donated them to our local agencies for free Of course, our area leads the nation in stolen vehicles

Thanks. One type of system I was looking at can be found @ http://www.peaceofmindsystems.com/gpsgemini.htm
This seems like a good system but the place is located in Canada. However I like the geo fence feature. From what I can tell the basic monthly fee for a real time system is only around $20. I just wnat to get something that works. Thanks again.
