Default Bore it?

can i bore my tecate cylinder and if i cant why not?

well you should be able to bore it, i dont see why not. unless its a sleevless engine which im sure its not,

I believe you have a cylinder which has a Nicosil coating which can not be re-bored. You could put a steel sleeve in it and then you would have many other bore sizes after you wear out the stock size

They had nikasil coatings OEM back in the tecate days? Definately news to me.

Bigger pistons, especially just small bore increments, dont make all that much more power. If you're going to go big, go real big.
