you want bigger tires or small tires? for a small stock size tire i like the chaparel hankooks and for a lil bit bigger tire that looks sweet and works well for the road i like the mickey thompson baja claws. and do what i did when i had manual have her sit in the middle and i always drive with my hand on the shifter. thats one of the reasons i like 4 speed better then 5 speed and even when i had 5 speed if she was with it was never in 5th. i have the maxxis buckshots,they are a little noisy but they do great in the mud and sand and they have decent tread life and wont kill your check book.

 

Some of the smaller truck of recent past don't get as good gas mileage as some
of the bigger with mid size engine. Bigger tires will make the truck work harder
than the tires that came with the vehicle. The front disc brake wear out quick,
and rotors are thin, so must be replaced rather than reworked.

 

with bigger tires it is harder on your axles, tranny, u-joint, steering gets looser. unless you have a 1979 1 ton ford with dana 60 axles lift kits and big tires make for everything to be sloppier and weak.

we test drove it today and we noticed the brake pads were worn(my father is a diesel mechanic), i told him that 5990 was alittle high with the tires shot also,i offered 3500 or 4000

THIS AS* LAUGHED AT ME AND SAID HA LOOKS LIKE YOURE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING!
