my buddy has a 96 z71. He put on 2 Glass packs. And i believe took off the cat's. But its the best sounding chevy i hav ever heard. He also had all new pipe put on 4 like $300 (i think)

 

Yeah they do. I got them on my Mustang and I love em'.

 

OH MAN! Flowmasters sound GREAT on a Mustang.

 

my buddy's 94 chev 1/2 ton has true-duals with no cats or mufflers, loud and throaty, too loud for my liking, he has is looking like it is legal but it's not, (piece of pipe ran through his cats) a guy does it around here for around $350

GET A K&N and a Gibson cat back exhaust. i got that on my 4 banger and it sounds great. not loud in the cab and out side has a really nice deep tone.

 

What kind of Stang was it?

 

I have Hooker Headers 21/2 inch pipes, no cats straight into Flowmaster 50 series... the sound is incredible... performance is WOW. Also have 4 dummy o2 sensors in there... Cost around 600... not to bad. Thats on a 5.7L 350 vortec.
