Loud Exhaust- For My Chevy!!!
#1
as some may know the dodge dakota i was going to buy didnt turn out well but i found a beutiful 94 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Ext. cab with aluminum wheels 2" lift and 32" tires. its alittlebeat up like the chevy simble and the grille r ugly because of wear, i want an exhaust that has a deep muscular sound, not an annoying sound. any other suggestions on how to clean it up will help, its blue and silver with blue interior, thanx

When I bought my 94 GMC half ton x-cab 4x4 it needed an exhaust, I went to Exhaust Pros, and had the owner put on a 3" cat back custom bent system, he runs it straight and puts minimum bends in it to flow better, with a Dyno Max turbo muffler. I also had him exit it 6" back from stock, so it won't melt the mudflaps like a lot of ones I'v seen, plus I don't like the look of the 2 pipes out the back, just more to damage if you back into something. It only cost me 150 bucks, ( but this was in 99,so prices have gone up,I'm sure) plus he uses an extra thick lifetime warrantied pipe and welds all junctions for less rust spots. To this day it still looks good, is quiet at idle, with a nice deep rumble that builds up when you stomp on it, but cruises with a nice "truck" sound that I get compliments on, not complaints, like with the "glass packs" a lot of kids run that have that rappy cackle to them.
