K&N and Carb?
#4
If your just riding sand dunes, then putting K&N's directly on the carb would be fine, but if you ride dirt or trails, DON'T DO IT. Leave the airbox on and remove the lid if you want. Also get the upgrade kit for the banshee airbox so the filters are clamped on like a Honda's, and run a foam filter if you ride in trails, especially if you ever get any water or a lot of dirt. My 250R came with K&N'S with the outerwear, anytime a little water would splash the filter the bike would bog. I have no problems with a UNI foam filter.
