ATV Gas mileage
Has anyone ever figured out what kind of mileage they get on their ATV's?
Obviously mileage isn't a consideration when buying these toys, but I'm just curions.
Also, I think watching the mileage is a good way to determine how the engine is running. A sudden drop in MPG would indicate that something is wrong.
I just bought my quad, so I haven't had a chance to figure the mileage out.

So without using a conversion chart or a calculater, I would guess that it would be approximately 40-50 mpg on the high side, vs 20-25 mpg on the low side.
The local police said that they have had quite a few inquiries regarding the licensing of atvs because of the cost of fuel. It's only $18 for the plate.

I think best would be 25-30mpg range. On all hard pack I can do about 200kms on 18 liters which is about 26MPG.
