When is the PS3 release date? I like the fact that all ps games can be played on Sonys "new" system. I will wait 2 or 3 weeks after the release date. Wait for few hundered $ to fall off the price tag.

 

doubt you'll see a couple hundred dollar price drop for a couple years after its release.

 

and then a ps4 will be out...and xbox3x or something will be out

 

That's why I like gaming on PC's - the day after you buy one, you're out of date. It is inevitable, so you learn to ignore it. But with a console, you get a chance to get used to having the best.

 

next spring is should release. i looked at pictures of it and it looks nice and sleek and stuff but im not diggin the controllers much.

lol, thats exactly wat i mean. it looks so uncomfortable. i think the ps2 controller is the most comfortable controller of all. the x-box ticks me off kuz its so big. could u use a ps2 controller for the ps3? kuz if so, thats wat im doin.

 

The type S controller I find is THE most comforable for me...I have rather large hands. it fits great in my hands

 

I used to like the Gamecube controller the best, but the angles are a little sharp (cramped hands after awhile). The 360's controllers are like the original S controllers, but a tiny bit smaller and more ergonomic. The best controller yet, IMO. Plus the wireless is a very nice feature.

 

I could never get used to the xbox controller, but I had a heck of a time using the DC controller. Genesis had a nice one, albiet with few buttons. The ps one is nice but doesnt lend itself well to holding without your hand wrapped all the way around it. The N64 controllers werent bad, but I felt they needed more room in the middle and it didnt make sense to me to have separate d-pads/joysticks where you couldnt reach the other without removing your hand from it and grasping somewhere else.

Nothing like tapping A and B on the classic 8-bit Nintendo, except maybe the joystick and paddles of Atari.
