I cant believe you made this thread. The dude should have been killed 24 years ago! He showed no remorse for what he did, and he brought others into violence and hate. "Off with his head!"

"But he wrote books and talked to kids about staying out of gangs..." So what! He co-founded one of the most v\iolent gangs in this country's history, never admitted to killing the people he was sentenced for, and believe me, those 4 weren't the only ones along the way.

Oh and BTW, his nickname "Tookie" came from the fact that whatever he wanted.....he "Took"

This was a violent man that might have done some good to try to keep kids out of gangs. Problem was that it wasn't because he was a good person, but was trying to save his own skin.

Just write some childrens books, apologize for creating one of the most violent gangs in the US, and never show remorse for the crimes you've comitted. Justice was served, and the victims families had every right to have it happen.

The people that he was convicted of killing were innocent victims cought in a cross-fire. He never showed any kind of remorse for them. No telling how many people he is directly related to their death. Forming a gang that requires you to murder someone, just to get in, is enough for me to "hit the switch."

If one of my direct family members is murdered and the accused shows no remorse, I have no problem spending 25-life for my re-action. I'am sure you all have seen "A Time To Kill" with Samuel L Jackson.

My only problem is that he got the needle....

He should have got the chair, firing squad or at least the gas!!!

We give the needle to beloved pets. They deserve better than Tookie.

The needle is too humane, but get's the job done while appeasing the liberals.
