i do have a CB, but it some POS cobra. I love when I get skip from down south lol. It's funny as hell to listen to the truckers preach.

 

yea man channel 11, 6 and 28. lol. just today i was down on c band and i was talking to a girl in san diego and this guy in southwestern montana. its pretty fun.

this is 426, the big man 4-2-6 out of the backwoods of western massachusetts, i just put the cap on my bottle and laid it down.

yes you can, skip is when the atmosphere is just right, the clouds are really high and thick and the signals just keep bouncing and go very very far. i live in mass. and i have talked to ppl from virginia all the way to california and montana. the signal is real great even from the ppl in georgia and everywere else. but, when this is happening it is hard to even talk to someone a few towns over because you get such a great signal from the skip. its weird, you can talk 3000 miles but you cant talk 15 miles. and also, the skip usually comes from at least a few states over because the signal is such a long bounce you dont get it.


and sometimes when its real high u can get stuff from across the atlantice( if you on the eas coast) and you can talk to england and ireland. and also if your on the west coast you would be able to talk to hawaii and even sometimes aautrailia.


its a pretty neat thing. sometimes when it doesnt go away though it gets real frustrting when u cant talk to you neibors becuase the skip just drowns then out. the signal from a guy in texas is strong than a guy across town.
