Default COLLETT PLATINUM 900 COMMUNICATORS

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the collett communicators? Are they any good and if they had any experience with them. Thanks.

Hello graptor.. We use them on both our quads and our snowmobiles. They work quite well. We wouldn't ride without them. The microphone needs to be just in front of your lips to work correctly. The dual speakers provide good volume in the helmet. And the battery pack runs all day. We have yet to run the battery pack down. We have tried a number of different solutions based on FRS radios and such. Nothing seems to work quite as well as the Collet.
I hope this helps you

Have used the Collett radios for years. Started with the 49 mhz model and now use the 900 models. Great for teaching the kids to ride. Have had to get one repaired as the wire came loose at the connector to the battery cable. Was covered under warranty, and was not a problem. Warranty goes for 3 years.
