ATV Posting Questions

When you click on "post reply", right below the words "your reply" is *HTML is ON" and *UBB is OFF". You can click on the *UBB Code is Off and it takes you to another page with some information that tells you how to add a link to your post, like another webpage. But, I am not familiar enough to understand how to post a pic, if, in fact you can. Tree--where are you or someone with the skills?

The easiest way to post a pic in here is to upload to your site and then write a line of code to bring it here. To send the pic directly here you would need an ftp client capable of uploading to atving's address. Since they use cgi (common gateway interface) it would be difficult. The html code to create your link is:
IMG SRC="http://theEXACTwebaddressofyourpichere"
If you left the reply setup as it is,with html ON, BEFORE the IMG you need to put a less-than symbol (<). AFTER the last quotation marks you need to put a greater-than symbol (>). I could not put them in the example because it would read as a bad link.
If you turned the UBB code ON, you would not need the code. Simply type the exact web address of your pic, the put a after it. (note: type the brackets) UBB is basically a way to write html code without having to use the code syntax. If you just wanted to create a link to your site you would just need to type in the exact address with before it, and after it.
For example:
<IMG SRC="https://atvconnection.com/editor/review/tires/mudrunner/images/mud3b.JPG">

Great job, David!
Hey, I'm starting a webpage, hopefully this week. It will be about ATV isues, riding, and other fun things. I've already secured a site and am putting together the graphics.
I may call on you for your expertise.

My apologies, I did not check the UBB link when I posted my reply. I assumed you could toggle it on by clicking it. And that's what I get for assuming. It appears the default code for this site is html. Maybe Mr. Moderator could shed some light on that. How 'bout it atvbbs?
