ATV Posting Questions

Mr. Moderator has been surgically removing and altering/blocking some of these posts. One of my previous posts is gone altogether, along with thumper4x4's pic which I brought here. It worked when I did it, but when I came back later, it didn't. The url has not changed. Methinks he doesn't like the forum being used as an html tutorial or playground.

I probably used more blinking type and abnormal sized fonts than anyone. It was fun, and made for some pretty cool threads. ATVConnection has every right to determine how this forum will be used, so I have no problem with following their guidelines. It was fun while it lasted, though.
My guess is the page grew wider because someone hypertexted to a photo which exceeded the width of the page for this thread. I found that out by accident when I used a photo of Myscrambler. Had to remove it - Drat it!
Thanks for the education in UBB, guys! I hope to use it in my web page about ATVing, entitled, STEEL RIDERS. I just got it up. The page is not technical, It will focus (perhaps comically, but always political incorrectly) on ATV issues and expeditions.
By the way, whatever you do, DON'T GO TO LITTLE SAUDI ARABIA!!!

Special fonts (large, small type, blinking type) are generally prohibited from Internet Boards. I ran across such a warning when I examined a news board.
The extra loading time for threads, such as this is because of the number of photos. For example, it has caused the "Where In North Carolina" thread to take longer to load. I intend to break the thread down into a number of smaller ones, which are all hot linked to one another. That will eliminate the problem. The "Where In North Carolina" thread itself will have only an index of "hotlinks" to threads about each riding area in that State. The reader will only have to choose which trail he wants to review, click on it, and it will load up for him automatically. Almost instant gratification! There will be no waiting for 40 messages to load, just the 1 the reader wants.
