Could it be because the Ford F series is the most popular truck being sold? Or is it because the F series not only out sell Chev, GMC (same truck) and Dodge, they out sell all of those COMBINED!

I do consider myself a Ford guy, however money is money and everyone makes good stuff today, so I would just buy whatever I got the best deal on.

thunderbolt you are wrong on one thing that you see more chevy and gmc's in minnesota then fords when it comes to half tons. it all depends on what part of the state and usually if there is a dealer that is really good to work with that is close by. there are several factors to take into play on that one and i am sure it is the same all over the united states. like around here alot of people i guess i will say wouldn't pick polaris as their first choice but buy them because the plant is right here and they work there and get a discount.

So you are telling me the Chevy's and Gmc's I see are Fords or Dodges in disguise ?? What I said is I see more chevy and gmcs and that is true from my observation. My son and I have sat and counted full size trucks many times when going different places and just about everytime we see more Gm trucks followed by Ford and then Dodge. Does that mean there are more Gm's in Mn ?? Not at all and I never said there was. I have read several times over the Years that more gm trucks are sold in Mn than any other brand. I honestly like Ford trucks, but I have always had GM and they have never let me down so why change now ?? If I get a lemon from Gm I will probably buy a Ford super duty. My first statement was only an observation from my own travels and I stand by what I said whether you believe me or not.
I wouldn't think twice about buying a Ford. They are very good trucks, whether they are the best is just ones opinion. I don't think they are any better than Gm and I know they all have their fair share of problems.

I have always been a die-hard Chevy fan, but ever since their 1999 Silverado was intorduced I have no intentions of buying a fullsize Chevy pickup. They are hideous in my opinion. BUT, have you guys seen the new front end on the Tahoe? IT LOOKS MEAN! If Chevy puts that skin on the Silverado when the new ones come out, Ill be a bowtie fan again.

thunderbolt i have also made those observations and well one town to the east of me had a really good ford dealership and thats all a person seen there to the west of me for many years they had a good chevy dealership and thats all you see there. and i notice when i go to larger cities around here i do see more fords but i guess it depends on where you are at i dunno where north branch is located (by the cities???) but i just know what i see up here.

Weez440, I live about 40 miles north of StPaul and also commute to my property in Mcgregor which is northeast of Brainard. I agree it depends on where you go. I have been to southern Mn and it seems like there is a lot of Fords, But when I travel from St Paul to Duluth I seem to see more GM's. I actually like both Ford and Gm trucks, but I have never been a fan of Dodge.
