Riding in PA state parks
#1
I live in WV and would like to do some riding in the PA state parks next summer. I know that you need a sticker to ride in these areas, but I am not sure how to obtain one. I don't have a copy of my title as the bank is holding it. I do have a copy of the bill of sale though. Will this work, or will I have to get a copy of my title from the bank? Also, I would appreciate any info on riding areas in the Keystone State within a 2 or 3 hour drive of Pittsburgh.
Thanks, Mike

Pennsylvania requires Pennsylvania registration of ATV's for out-of-staters whose home states have no ATV registration requirements. Otherwise, an ATV registered out-of-state is o.k.
The fee for registering an out-of-state ATV is $ 10.00; the staff at DNR in Harrisburg is cooperative and helpful, available through mail, telephone, and FAX. A copy of a title, bill-of-sale, or Manufacturer's Statement of Origin should be adequate for the PA DNR, I believe.
If you need contact assistance E-mail me; I've registered two out-of-state quads with PA myself.

I'm pretty sure you need some form of proof that you own the ATV. I went riding there this past summer and I don't have proof that my 250R is mine(its a custom bike) but for some reason they said it was OK when I explained to them. But they still wanted proof for my 400EX

I would sugest changing your focus away from state parks in Pa.
I've got the entire list of Pa park riding areas (state/fed). And I must say Pa is a joke, When it comes to setting up riding areas.Their not even worth taking your quad off the trailer!
E-mail us Pa riders. The network is word of mouth. And a big network it is! With a lot of intel for all facets of riding.
Just tell us what you want to do.
