Default EFI on dirtbikes?

In the last couple years we have seen EFI systems (Electronic Fuel Injection) become popular on street bikes and now were seeing EFI on Quads so do you all think we'll start seeing EFI systems start to pop up on dirtbikes in the next couple years?

Yeah, they are testing them over in the Japan MX races right now, from all of the Big 4 Manufacturers. It was said to be on the bikes for 07', but from what I understand there still needs to be some fine tuning and cost reduction, so 08' will probably be the big year for EFI on dirtbikes.

I think EFI would be great on a dirt bike. It's also the future for ATV's too, well prolly see even more quads w/ EFI in the 07' line-up.

The pitbike is awesome for what it is. Right down the road my buddy owns a farm, it is relatively flat so the big bikes and quads get boring, but pit bikes are a blast anywhere. We clocked mine at 55mph. There fun to play on, especially if you have a friend or two with one.

I think once they come up with a way to do it without and extra weight it will be great. It's definately the future, especially in ATV's. And remember this, Aluminum is going to be the next big change for the 450's and maybe plus some.

It's a great machine to learn on and if you're riding tight trails it's prolly just what your looking for. Light, reliable, easy to throw around, plenty of power it can climb any hill I throw at it.
