LA band Deepdown

anyone ever see these guys live?
The lead singer was a grade school friend,,,,and i just learned of his band. Then i listened to them,,,and wow,,,they are pretty good.
Last time i saw him was standing next to a keg in someones backyard in 1995 in Ct,,,,and i can remember him telling me he was moving to LA to play music.
