As you can tell from the pics I posted at SWAMPMONSTER there are a lot of leaves around where I ride and in the water. Well I've had a problem a couple of times when I would go riding that leave would build up between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield over it. As long as the leaves stay wet there is no problem. I ALWAYS wash my quad thoroughly after getting back from playing in the mud, but some how some leaves remain trapped there and I can't see them. So the next time I start it up the leaves are dry and begin to burn in there. What makes it worse though is that when I ride a little faster (maybe down a dirt road or across a field) it get's more air blown on it and could possibly start a fire when you stop. Real scary!!!

I was just wondering if any one else has this problem and if so have you fixed it?

That machine looks BAD. Looks like it would go through any mudhole around.
