I saw a clip on the internet today (skoopy.com) of a guy attempting a backflip on an ATV. It was on ramps at some sort of event with audience there and all that. The jump went bad right from the start, and the guy was off the quad before it peaked. He came down from way up high and bounced off of whatever was inbetween the ramps and then off the landing ramp and to the ground. It was pretty gruesome. Didn't look like Guetter, who is a pretty big guy. Looked like a YFZ but I only watched it once as I'm not too fond of bad injury videos.

Anybody hear of this or know who that might have been? Didn't look like a fake video either.

Well I have heard it's one of the H-Bomb films guys, broke his leg and wrist. Looked worse than that, hope he's recovering well.

 

That was Christian Gagnon. He's a Canadian rider that just signed on with H-Bomb a few months ago. It happened at an expo over in the UK.

Christian has landed the flip many times, and is an awesome freestyle rider, but as we all know, sometimes $hit happens. It could have been much worse, so I'm just glad he wasn't hurt more than what he was.

I believe he is the one that did the back flip at Dunefest this year also. It was pretty cool to see them. I hope he will be ok.
