Default Repairing cracked and broken plastics

I think this is the right place to ask this question.

Can anyone tell me how to repair plastics that are broken and cracked? I'm broke right now and would rather spend 10 bux on some epoxy or something and still ride the bike around. The cracks arent a big deal to me but cosmeticaly there was the piece just behind my seat on my predator that broke off due to a friends big wheelie. I'd like to know the best products to fuze it back together since it is not a major piece to the bike.

Thanks!

I don't know about epoxy. My friend has a 02 big bear that had some bad plastic damage. He spent a good hour or more drilling small holes in the plastic and putting zip ties in it. I've seen some hack jobs with the zip ties. I'll have to take a pic of his some day, it actually looks pretty neat, everything lines up perfect. There is probably only a 1/8"- 1/4" between each zip tie.

Ive used epoxy or resin if you will, to fix mine, I put a little plastic wire to hold it better together too. I did this on the inside though where you cant see it.

I used an super epoxy on a crack on mine before. It has held up excellently. I would suggest trying something like that.

There is such a thing as a plastic welder, but there is many different kinds or types of plastic.
