So I will be starting a new project car. My current camaro is totaled, and I will be turning it into a full out drag car I think...Once I start getting money in for the accident, I will be starting to transform it...Ahh I love power

Just a suggestion from someone who has built alot of late models and messed with the LT1s. If the car is an automatic, the first thing I would do is buy a Yank or Vigilate torque converter. This is the best bang for the buck. A good converter will knock at least .5 of your ETs. It sounds like your gonna be on a budget? Gut the car, its a racecar and don't need power steering, AC, Heat, Backseat. Basically if it don't make it run, lose it. I would keep the door panels and carpet for cosmetic reasons. But remove everything under the carpet. Sound deadener. Right now there are 2 sets of AFR heads for the LT1 on ebay. These are one of the best heads available. If you could find a complete LT4 setup, their good for over 400 hp. But discontinued so hard to find. But good luck with whatever you decide to do with it.

Thats pretty cool, should be fun when its done. I'm thinkin bout gettin a camero or trans-am (1988-1992) I really like the body style from those years.
