Just looking for some info,,,,,,,,Just like to know if there are more young guys out there riding then there are us older guys riding,,,,,,,so if everyone will tell me your age ,,,it would help....I was talking to this guy at a mx-track and he was trying to tell me that there are more younger guys that ride .,and i just dont think so,,,if u ask me is about the same,,,THANKS for all your help.

 

Just warming up at 42 years young ,

 

67 and holding at 39, i have met several riders in their mid 70's that are still riding strong for their age.

 

i'm 15 and not going to stop riding till i'm dead

 

My Father (well step father) will turn 50 in April and he still rides like he's 25............ He is faster than 95% of the people we ride with (including me) and some of them are "A" class XC racers ...... The only guys faster are the MX guys ...... Last year he broke his collar-bone, punctured his lung and got a concussion in a nasty crash in early May..... By late June he was riding light, and by August he was back to nearly 100% .......

I personally will be 35 in April and have no plans on stopping anytime soon........ as long as I can swing my leg over the seat I'll be riding.........

Heck with one of those Arctic Cats with the space in front of the seat you could probably ride as long as you can sit up straight ........

I am 40 and I think you are only too old when it isnt safe for you to ride anymore.I dont think age is a number you can count it is the ability to ride.

Too old to ride.................NEVER I can see myself being like 70 and still flying down the trails or cruising the dunes.

 

well my dad is 57 and just last week he was out in front of my house in the ice on his warrior cutting doughnuts in the middle of the street. my oldest came in and said "dad, hurry up and come see opa on his fourwheeler" i ran outside and watched. lol. he was a little sore the next day but he doesnt get to ride all the time. i guess your only as old as you think you are. i'm 34 and plan on doing the same stuff with my grandchildren........hopefully.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Turning 46 next month, and still every year I try to set a new jumping distance mark for myself.....not even thinking about slowing down yet. My Dad's turning 73 next month and he's still riding.

My favorite thing at the dunes is racing and jumping with a new group, then we all stop and pull helmets and sometimes they're a bunch of kids like 20 or so, and when I pull my helmet off they're like "Dude! You're as old as my Dad!"
