If you ride in any wet areas you need to protect that cell phone. I went to my local SCUBA shop and bought a Pelican case. It is completely water and air tight to like 100 feet.

What's up girlatvr2???? Serious female riders are hard to find aren't they????
I have been riding for just over two years. Started out sharing my hubby's 400ex...then realized right away that I HAD to have my own quad.
I am learning to maintain and repair a quad. My husand says if I am going to ride, I can help work on it. Fair enough. I actually enjoy working on these machines.
Do you have any pics girlavtr2??? We never thought to take pictures until we got into the forums and saw everyone else's pictures. When we are old and can't ride...we will have our pictures to help us "remember when"!!!
Later...Sher

girlatvr2, what kind of machine do you ride? My wife and I have Warriors. This also applies to Banshees. The front bumpers on these quads is a tube with a big rubber cap at both ends. We have a small bundle of band-aids, tools, knife, and other first-aid stuff we put in there. The rubber caps seal the bumper water-tight.
We also have the fanny packs.
I'm thinking about welding up a light-weight rack to fit on my grab-bar, to hold larger items.

I'm thinking about putting a six pack rack on my scrambler, it goes right on the grab bar and looks pretty sweet.
PRM makes a grab bar for your lakota and sells for about $60 bucks, its a good deal if you think about cuz you can carry a lunch box, spare gas can, or just a bag of stuff you want to bring on your ride.
No welding required, it bolts right on to your grab bar and has a brake light relocator mount on the rack.
I was going to tell you about it sooner, then I remembered when I read wildturkeys post.
