Default Blue Gunk???

Ok, I have a feeling that this might turn out to be a really stupid question, but here we go anyway. Is there a reason why there is a residue of blue gunk on all the rubber parts, including the tires of my ATV after washing a good layer of mud off of it? It is almost like the oil is leaching out of the rubber or something. Any Ideas?

Noticed that too (so it's not just your imagination), but I would hardly call it "gunk". Something in the tire is reacting with the mud, but it's gone right away the next time I ride it....

Mud is replacing the greese If all the parts are freshly packed with greese that could be why. Grease on the out side of the seals helps keep watter and dirt out better.

Bearings should be greesed all the time if you go muddin or in watter alot

That might explain it on the outside of the Boots, but not all over the outside of all 4 tires...right?

Well the only place I get grease build up is on the front hubs a little.
