Christini has been working on this since the late 90's, I believe the Christini guy behind it all originally did it on bicycles and then decided to do it for motorcycles, and finally developed a good product a few years ago. Their conversions are like factory bike, very clean from what I have seen. I'd love to get my hands on one and try it.
As for yamaha, they do have a WR450 all wheel drive bike, I even think it is in production over in Europe. We'll prolly see it over here in the next few years.
