there are different size snow plows i would like to get a 60 inch blade from cycle country since i already have the pushtubes but dont know if my machine will handle a heavy snow using that size blade i have ruled out a state blade cause when you would raise it it would interfere with the headlights i have a 2000 yamaha kodiak 4 wheel drive with a warn winch and stock tires

A King Quad is classified as a 300cc machine, actual engine size is 280cc.

I got the straight blade that Yamaha was offering as a promotion last year. I think it is a 50". I push it with my 2001 Kodiak 4x4 and it works real well. I think it would push a 60 ok as well. Mine is all stock except the Warn winch. More traction wouldn't hurt when trying to push a pile, but otherwise its good.

Although we have an occasional snow our winter mainly consist of ice storms. Not much use for a snow plow in ice but I do have an interest in using a plow to level gravel in a driveway that continuously is rutted out. Will a King Quad and a snow plow be able to handle the abuse of moving gravel and dirt (I'm more worried about the plow than I am the Quad) and if so should I opt for a 48" or 60" plow. I'll appreciate comments from folks that have experience in this area. Thanks!
