Default ATV PLOWING

I am just trying to give everyone a heads up on a possible problem, that's what the forums are for. I like my Mooses (std & Country), the Country throws higher. The berms are over 4' tall right now, so it works best. All I am saying is to check the welds on the short square tubing that runs between the 2 push tubes, it is only welded on 2 sides. It will crack there first, after that things start to get ugly.

So what about a universal mount? Arctic Cat has a Great looking plow. The plow is made of polycarbonate (Thick Plastic) and steel frame that it is mounted to, then the push tube is steel, but I am wondering if this blade would fit any universal mount push tube?

I have wondered about that too. Polaris makes a blade (GLACIER I PLOW ) that is shaped like a BOW TIE, so that it lifts snow angled either way. My Moose Country blade only lifts when angled to the right. Are they universal fit, will a Polaris blade fit on a Moose push tube? Is anyone using this plow and have any thoughts about it. I like the way it looks!

So you have an idea as to what it looks like.....

Default ATV PLOWING

I plow in Wisconsin by the tip of Lake Superior. I'm a Engineer for our school district. I have a Polaris 500 ATP at work with the Glacier I plow....I don't like it as much as the one at home. It is a fast on and off plow..But the problem I have with it is... while backing up over curbs or frozen piles the bottom of the plow hits and unhooks itself from the rear. It really sucks trying to put it back on with all the snow under it.
At home I have a 08 700 TRV Arctic Cat with the Arctic Cat plow. I replaced the wear bar with a grader blade and removed the shoes.(same as work). I push a lot of snow with this rig. I live on a lake so I do a lot of cabins, skating rinks and the main road when the plow trucks don't come around. If the snow banks get to big for the wheeler..I have a Kabota tractor with a front end loader to push the banks back.
Which plow system do I like the best?? Arctic Cats hands down.

Thanks for the heads up. I am in North Idaho, half mile from the county road and roughly a mile of driveway total. I don't like it when things break, it wastes too much time and its no fun standing on your head in the snow. Time in is the best, sounds like you've been there! For now, I'll stick with my Moose. Still waiting for the snow to come off here, can see gravel, but might be too early to take the blade off yet.....we will see..........
