Anyone use thase strapless goggles? The ones that connect to your helmet and one side snaps off.

Any pros or cons?

Thanks

I use them and absolutely love them. About the only con I could see is that you don't get as tight of a seal to your face as with a full fledged strap. That might come into play in very dusty conditions although I haven't had a problem yet. Pros, well, you can get the gogs off your face quick and easily. I have an easier time breathing(less pressure on the bridge of my nose) and you never lose your goggles. They are always right there on the helmet unless I take them off to be cleaned.

Both of my kids have them for the reason already mentioned. So they don't get lost. I really like them for that. The only reason me and my husband don't have them is because we use ours when we ride in our friends rail too. So we need to be able to take them off.

So, do you use some kind adhesive and glue the mounts on, or are they snaps or something? And, do you have to get special goggles that use the mounts, Thanks again.

Ive been using them for over 20 years, absolutely love them. I have a set on just about every helmet in the family. Cant imagine using a regular strap on a goggle again.

You get a kit that has shorter straps and a button for the right side. A velcro pad for the left side, both are on self adhesive pads.

You can use almost any kind of goggle just have to be able to remove the straps. I have Smiths and you can not remove the straps on them so don't go with Smiths.
