Bought one from Walley World also, after getting it hooked up and going . Used it to pull the 4 wheeler on the trailer and stripped the gears first thing didnt even make it up the 2 foot incline on the ramp . It got replaced with a Champion of 2,000 lb. rating for 10$ more . Seems to be a better winch , this kit was a special buy evidently . It had a ****** block, remote handle bar switch , mount plate , fair lead, whole 9 yard kit. Seems to be a pretty good cheap winch for the money.

have one on a big bear and it will pick the fourwheeler off the ground so it does it job....

You sure you stripped the gears, When I first put mine on, it pulled about 2 feet and quit working, the connections inside the switch came loose, put a new toggle on and no problems..

But I assume it will eventually crap out on me, except it looks to be identical to the old superwinch 1500 series... And they worked great....
