Default Bike to Bike Radios

Anybody use or try to use "bike to bike" radios? Are they worth the hassle? Any particular style or brand work best?

Default Bike to Bike Radios

We've used the Collett radios for years:

They work well and I consider them a 'must have' when riding with kids. Makes it easy to talk them through a tough spot or more important, get them to stop when you needd them to and then can't see you. When it's just adults riding, we always take the radios. We rarely chat, but they're good to warn others behind of oncomming traffic or an unexpected drop off. Good too when one rider takes off to check out a side trail the may turn into a dead-end. Range is about one to two miles, depending on where you are and temperature.
