I know that that on the quads allone I will spend close to $70.00! You?

 

We would normally be riding, but the wife has us going to a relatives house. Unless I can find a way out. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

But it would have been about 75.00 for the fuel station tank on the trailer, about 45.00 to fill up 3 of the quads, and then at least a tank of gas on the truck, depending on whether we went anywhere else, at about 103 bucks.

Then tack on the camp site cost, cost of admission to the riding area and food and drinks, with an emphasis on drinks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] There's another 100 bucks easy.

That all adds up to a nice little sum. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

$80 for the truck and 40 for the quad...i am in yuma so its not that far of a drive...i plaan on going to glamis then ocitillo for the weekend will it still be packed this time of the year?

 

70 bucks for the truck and another 50 bucks im sure on the quad.im camping also.So i'll be on the quad for two day's straight[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

We have done away with our travel plans.
The thought of burning 100 dollars worth of gas in the truck, plus all the gas for the atv's plus the camping supplies like food and such. I just gave up.
Oh well Sometimes staying home and just laying around aint all that bad.
And I wont have to deal with the free loaders that always show up at the camp sites with nothing more than a 6 pack and one tank of gas.

 

Not going any where for Memorial day but am going to Pismo Beach 3 weeks later. Its about 480 miles round trip and I take about 7 toys with me also. Truck gets about 6 mpg so ill need 80 gallons of reg just for the trip. usually burn another 20 gallons driving on the beach and dunes. Toys will use about 20 gallons of premium. Reg is going for about 4$ and premium is about $4.25.. $480.00 just for gas

My favorite freeloaders are the ones that go from cooler to cooler to cooler asking the owner of the cooler "can I get just one beer from you"

Second favorite is the ones that show up with ONE package of hot dogs, yet eat eveyones ribs, chicken, beef and potatoe salad.

And then have the nerve to try to take food home!!!!

Yeah its a bad subject with me, cause Im the guy that brings the cooker,charcoal and twice as much food than I really need to make sure eveyone has enough.
Wife says im a soft hearted sucker.
