does anyone know what the part is called that is connected to the boot of the spark plug. it looks like a plg type thing???

 

Ok "party pimp," (haha!) The spark plug doesn't have a boot, the wire does, and there's not much to a plug wire. You have the wire, the connectors crimped onto the wire, and a boot on each end, so I don't know what you're talking about.

 

ok so its the boot then the wire and then something that looks like a two prong plug. its all one piece and i need a new one but i dont know what they are called

 

Sounds like you're talking about the spark plug wire.

When you go to buy it, the parts guy will have an exploded diagram for you to look at so you can show him exactly what you need.
