Just buy them there own! haha...My three year old has a Raptor 50 and rides with me...before that he sat in front of me...He's a better rider than most teenagers tho!</end quote></div>

He's got a 50cc Giovanni but he's too small yet. He drives it, but not enough strength in his thumb yet to keep it going.

FYI..... I know a guy who was riding his 3 year old son on the front of his Polaris 700.... the kid slipped off while on a slight off-camber and while trying to grab the falling kid the father accidentally stabbed the throttle........ the kid was sucked right under the rear wheels........ ran right over his chest......

Lucky for him little kids have soft bones so nothing was broken, but his face took a shot from the under-belly somewhere and ripped his bottom lip into about 20 stitches...... the kid was wearing an old football helmet because that was all that fit........

IMO the kid should not go on an ATV until he has the strength to hold on for himself..... or better yet ride one himself........put him on an electric toy quad and see how he does himself and go from there......</end quote></div>

Must have been at an unsave speed? Going +/-10MPh, can' see it.</end quote></div>

He said he was going quite slow, at near idle...... the problem happened when he reached to help the kid from falling and accidentally hit the throttle......

The guy is usually one of those super-safe people...... but what happens to everyone is that once you do things a few times complacency and a lack of vigilance can set in...... this is just the nature of life, we all make mistakes sometimes......

Obviously a rare incident, but you never know.....

Man that sucks.... glad he's okay.

I was riding with my 2yr old girl sitting in front of me on the 500 and we stopped for some reason but didn't get off and i didn't put it in park or set the parking brake... Well she reached up and pinned the throttle which i wasn't ready for and we just took off. luckily we were on flat and ground. i reacted in about a second and a half and shut it down.... We got lucky. It could of ended up being a really bad day for us.

Like most, I ride my boys around the yard. My five year old sits behind me and either holds me or the six pack rack. My 3 year old rides in front with me holding him. Both boys have MX helmets, but my biggest concern is the engine. I always make them wear jeans. When I was younger, I had a friend lean his leg (wearing shorts) against the engine of a KX80. That was one nasty burn! So, besides the helmet, give the little ones long pants!
