Default 2008 yfz 450 factory rebuild

I bought a new 2008 yfz 450 from a dealership in Idaho. At less then 5 hrs old the motor had to be rebuilt because of dealership neglect. The dealership didnt service the air filter so it let alot of dirt threw into the motor. The dealership did rebuild the motor but when I got the bike back it looked like a rebuilt wreck. oil all over and scratches on the frame.
Some thoughts on what to do for compensation or should I eat it. so far I am the only one I know that paid full price for a rebuilt bike.

Do at least two things: Approach the dealership, either in person or with certified mail. Let them know that you are going notify the Polaris corporation, the better business Admin. and finally the Attorney General of your state. Then get a percentage off the cost of the ATV or tell them that you want a brand new ATV. Much success to you!

I'd definitely go in and throw a huge fit until something is done. That is absolutely ridiculous.

I had to throw a big fit just to get them to admit it was there falt and not mine. Going threw Polaris sounds good to me. I called Yamaha public relations and they said it was a dealership issue that they weren't getting involved. So far it seems they think they are doing me a big favor by just admiting falt and rebuilding it. Going in tommorw to talk to the manager. I do wish I could get a bit off the price. Well see if they will work with me. Thanks for the input.

well I tryed getting more from them and they just shrugged their sholders and said thats the luck of the draw sometimes. It wasnt a lemon because there was a reason it failed so it didnt qualify as a lemon. the factory said that since the dealership fixed the problem there arent going to get involved and the dealership said they did there part. so I am the only one I know that paid full price for a rebuild four wheeler. thanks for all you ideas it looks like I am just sunk.

No sure I understand. How the heck was it dealership neglect? You bought a "new 2008" There is no servicing to do by the dealer. You have to service the bike after you use it and get the filter dirty.

this whole things sounds fishy......
