Well, after much thought, I traded my 98 Warrior on a 01 Kodiak. I sure will miss the Warrior. Or should I say missed it for the first hour? That's how long it took me to get a little comfortable with the difference in size and handling. I love the automatic, 4x4, and not getting soaked every time you cross water. I put 4 to 5 hours on it over the weekend and the break-in period is about 20 hours. Therefore, I can't say that I put it to any tortureous test or anything, but I am really impressed with it. Once I figure out how to change my name I will to something more appropriate. I don't know to what,I'll need to give it some thought.

Maybe your name should not contain your quad's name! that when when you get a newer one )and you know you will) you won't have to change again! hehe!

According to the Warden, this is the LAST quad I will ever have. (Her sense of humor kills me, I am going to try and get her on the Leno Show) You are right though. I just figured it gave my name and what I ride all at once. I am going to change it to "Anything Outdoors". That pretty much says it all about me. Now I just have to figure out how to do it.

Congrats on your new quad. You'll find it to be a very enjoyable quad.

Good luck on your new ride. Not to start a war or anything but in MY opinion the Kodiak is Yamaha's best utility quad they have. The Grizzly rides rough & needs to be updated. I have ridden a Kodiak twice, love the way it handles in the woods & its engine braking system, which could be the best in the industry!
