Gone-That realization that the newbie with the first post asking, "What should I buy?, isn't coming back any time too soon. They ask you for great amounts of information and never post again. Synonymous with Cretin.

Hit and run-Now you're thinking that this involves an inattentive rider coming around a corner and bashing into another rider stopped alongside the trail and leaving the scene of the crime. Nope, it's those hundreds, perhaps thousands, of folks who post questions on ATV forums, expecting to answer at length, all their questions about what quad to buy, which maker, etc.? The dutiful, true participants of the forums take much time and effort to relay the vast wealth of accumulated knowledge to help out the original poster (OP), only to never see or hear from them again. This leaves the dutiful forum members sad and deeply troubled wondering if the person has been abducted or worse....

Maybe next year. A phrase often repeated by brand loyal ATVers when the features available on other machines haven't made it to their favorite brand. A stubborn refusal to buy the machine that actually has the features you want, causing you to wait yet another year. See: Honda
