Default Help with decision on boots please!

My brother got me a full troy lee mx outfit. So now I am looking for a pair of boots. He got me the pants that are ment for mx.

The type of riding that I do is trail riding/ jumps. I don't mx what so ever.

the pants that he got me are meant for high boots so that I can tuck the pants inside the boots.

The boots that I am really considering is the

Sidi Discovery. I like these alot cause they are soft and really really easy to shift but they are like $300

I was originally considering the alpinestars tech 3s but I really do not like the fell of a true mx boot. They are so stiff.

Are there any boots out there that are soft and as tall as an mx boot but something cheaper than the sidi discovery?

I was looking at am worried that these boots are not a soft as the sidi discovery.

fly racing stinger boots
a.r.c atv boots

I know the thor 50/50 boots are awesome but i am looking for a tall boot not a short/shorty.

I use the tch 3's with the A/T sole as I think the give you better traction in the mud vs a regular boot!

I was originally going to get the tech 3s but didn't like how stiff they were when I tried them on.

Most booots are stiff at first untill you break them in. I thought the same thing but now I wont ride without them.

All the boots you named are very good high quality...... you cannot lose with any of them. Just pick the ones that feel best and break them in....

Any quality boot is going to feel some what stiff at first. Wear them around the house and bend them as much as possible. After you wear them for a few times you will love the support they offer.

Hey man, there a couple of really nice sets of boots at Rocky Mountain ATV. The best ones I've found are on clearance for a Damn good deal! Click Here for the first pair(the best IMO) or Here for the other type. Both of these pairs of boots seem really high in quality, very flexible, and yet very affordable. I live 5 minutes away from RMATV so I have the luxury of seeing them in person, and they both seem really nice for the money. Good luck!
