Light problems - Redcat VX 200
I am trying to fix my lights on my RedCat vx 200 I know it is a cheap quad but couldnt afford the Arctic Cat
Headlights don't work Hi/LO on the switch no off. 2 wires going to the bulb, no ground wire in the connector? Bulb works in one mode, high I think when I manually put a jumper wire to ground.
I found the rear brake light broke under the connector. This caused a short which melted some wires from the light up about 2 to 3 inches.
I took the wires out of the harness all looked OK.
I have a Black wire, Brown wire, Green and yellow wire at the connector that goes to the tail light.
The GW wire shows continuity to ground when brake pressed? Brown is positive and Black is positive both are hot when key is on? At the tail lamp the Black was soldered to the spring (Ground?)
Not sure where to go.
I was trying to attach and wire a generic 2 wire tail stop lamp to replace the broken orignal.
Any Ideas?
