Anyone know if Liab insurance is required for a registered atv that is not being financed?

 

This all depends onthe the state you live in as they are all differant but I know here in Co no insurance is required at all even if the the vehicle is being financed. I would check with you insurance CO.

 

Some riding areas may require it. Frankly, as cheap as FULL coverage is, there is no reason not to have insurance. Mine runs $75 per year per ATV except my Outlander which costs $125. Theaf, trail damage whtever, it's covered.

In MI we need to have no-fault insurance and I think that's all, but full coverage is just under $120 with a $500 deductible for collision and comp. That includes medical and everything for about 32 cents a day.

 

In Maine you don't need it. I think all you need here is to be registered, and wear a helmet if your under 16.
