I have a 2002 sportsman 500 HO and im adjusting the valves,and have a book etc.
and have done them before on my raptor and other weelers,and the books are usually pretty helpful...had no problems,but this book is not helping me!
I need to know what the exhaust and intake is supposed to be set at???????????
My bood says bring it to top dead center and with the cam loabs facing downward,so I did,and set them at he (.006mm) like they claimed and it just didnt run right,and ran great before i did the adjustments,the only reason I even did them is they started getting a little noisy and the milage is at that point.
