How do you remove scratches from your plastics?

You don't, wear them with pride.

There is a product called PC Plastic renew where you basically sand the scratches out and then coat with many coats of a clear sealer, but it takes lots of coats and the sealer will eventually flake off.

Best solution I've found if you don't want to see the scratches is to only get camo bikes. I know that I've got to have scratches all over mine - you just can't see them.

Two things helped mine. First, run a torch over it about 6-8" out and be careful to avoid the fuel tank, seat and stickers. Second, colored wax helps some.

These aren't miracle cures but do get rid of the small stuff or at least makes them less noticeable.

lol! Thank God that's one I didn't learn the hard way.

The torch also helps bring back some shine.
