Best OR dune riding for beginners
#2
The least mount of traffic in my area is probably Spinreel. At Spinreel there are still a lot of faster riders but you have the sand road that goes to the beach and there are lots of 'easy' ways around. That is where my stepmom learned to ride her 500 sportsman and she was never on a bike b4 in her life.
There are still risks involved anywhere. Don't forget any riders under 30 need Their ATV safety card now. rideATVoregon | Welcome
There is a small area in Winchester Bay that is good for newbie riders. Windy Bay tends to attract a lot of "hi-performance" riders.
Also, in Hauser there is a staging area and a nice flat area when the dunes begin. That would be ok too. The bigest thing, anywhere you go is to be extremely aware of everyone around you because they may not be doing the same. Not trying to scare you, just want you to know.
