Question Gas Cap Vent Hose

Howdy folks, iv been having trouble with the gas cap vent hose..it keeps popping off. No matter what i do, it just wont stay on. I really dont want to have to buy one of those no toil ones. The question is, is it really nessacary, or can i just leave the hose off?

Default Keep It

Keep it on...the only reason I say this is to keep the dirt and water that is sitting on your gas cap from entering the tank.

Trimming a little bit off the end will help if the hose is stretched out.

NP. I had to do that with gas lines before, when the ends get stretched out of shape.

Default Buy

If all else fails you could break down and spend the 2 bucks on a new one!
