Default Cheap stereo

Has anyone ever tried one of these out? I am not looking for anything to blast out the camp site. I am just looking for some background noise. Do these sound ok, maybe from about 15 feet or so. Do they hold up? I do not see anything about being waterproof.

Headphones are great if you are alone. I am looking for something that can run and everyone within a few feet can hear, mainly while we are parked.

I just use my ghetto blaster and plug it into the cigarette lighter/power port. I don't want anything permanent that can be ripped off.

I like the Ghetto blaster idea. I had been planning on getting one for the backyard / Hot tub anyway. I think I will go that route. Thanks.

I've used computer speakers a few times, they run off of 12V, hook the the MP3 player, not real loud, but they last quite a while unless submerged and can be bought for about 3 bucks at a 2nd hand store.
