Where is the best place to live?

Check out BIG BEAR here in so. cal--just far enough from l.a. county to be away from it all but still close enough to access the suburban areas for any needs---also some decent ski areas---i think the elevation is 6,000 feet--the climate is decent not to frigid in the winter and temperate in the summer

Trouble with Big Bear is you would have to trailer your bike to a trailhead, and you are limited to a few open roads and trails. Plus in the winter, a lot of the trails might be closed (Forest Service closes a lot of gates when it begins to snow). Why not live somewhere where you can ride right from the house?

guys, guys, guys don't forget the second largest state well it would be the first largest if one could melt alaska. you know what state i'm talking about----TEXAS. we have everything...mountains (so to speak), desert, a long coastline, dense forest, plenty of rocks and mud, and the nicest people you will ever meet unless you are a muslim living around dallas. texas is also safe because of the high number of gun owners in the state--just don't **** us off. we are also the only state that can break away from the union and form 5 separate states if you like that kind of thing.
in truth anywhere in north america is good just watch out for california because it might break off, sink, and become the next atlantis if the big one ever hits.

Arizoa: From Prescott to Flagstaff is great and offers tons of opportunities for outdoor activities. Snow and Water Skiing, lots of places to ride ATV's, with Glamis a mere 4HR's away, mountain biking, fishing, you name it. Summer highs between 80-90 and occasional snow during the winter!

I just moved to Arizona and love it already. Will be hooking up with AZ400L and FasterThanGas in a few weeks for a trip to Glamis. Also talked to a shop owner here in Phoenix that specializes in dune equipment. Got invited to some Halloween ride. Were I came from, Wyoming, the quads are already put away and everybody is dreaming about the next riding season (Wyoduner being one of those poor souls!!!!) in 7 long, cold, windy months, gives me chills just thinking about it... I on the other hand, just bought a new chain for the upcoming season... Gonna be putting alot of miles on the Banshee this year!!! But Wyoming is a nice place to retire. Lots of friendly people, but get married before you get there, all the cute gals leave the day they turn 18...
