Hi, 34 been reading this post for a while and wasn't going to reply. Cause I'm hoping that I'm only half way up the HILL. Rode bikes for 25 or so years and just got my 4x4 this year, Love it makes working on the ranch a little easier.

Iguess I "qualify" at age 64. Bought my first quad in September of this year. Road a few yers before that and decided that the quad can take me where ly legs can't and a lot quicker to boot.

I'll be 67 in a few months and have all the aches and pains of getting older; however, the pains go away as soon as I mount my four-wheeler. I have been to the Hatfield-McCoy trails. Will be going back in December and again in January. I live in Florida and am retired. I'd like to think I could qualify for the "old fools and farts" club.

I'm a 30 yr. old in a 59 yr. old body. Got my first quad a year ago and I don't look back (somebody might be gaining...). I gave up motorcycles 'cause I seemed to be having more close calls on the road, and I really wasn't riding enough to stay sharp. I really hate it when a cager turns in front of you;especially when they look right at you while doing it.

I love my 'Cat, and use it on a nearly daily basis around home and on trail rides.

Well, just turned 50 last week so I guess I am in the club. My wife and I both have utility quads and go riding every chance we get. We both love the sport ...as something we can do together. We plan most all our vacation time around somekind of ATV trip.
Hope someday we will have the opportunity to meet some of you on the trails.

Just turned 51. Did airplanes (got to expensive), boats (wouldn't pull my camper and a boat), dirt bikes (don't heal fast enough anymore), still have my street bike (gold wing, love it) and hope to buy a atv in a few month's. Don't ever grow old. Don't let the bastards wear you down.

Hi! May I join the gang? I,m 52 and did not realize how old I was till I figured up how long I have been riding-36 years. I must be getting better as I have not broken any bones lately but I don,t go as fast as I used to or take the chances.Have been riding 4-wheeler for 12 years. Tried street riding for 9 years-decided it was too dangerous-sold it and bought a new Rancher4x4.
I do get tired of reading forums like How fast does your atv go?
How can I make mine go faster? Who makes the fastest? Although I guess I was speed crazy too at that age..................Mike

I've been following this thread and have been wondering; Since I haven't had an original thought (yet, but I'm not for sure), but does anyone else aged 64 or older has these thoughts/hobbies;
*disappointed that ZZTop hasn't had a really great album since "Eliminator"
*spends enormous time collecting DRG topographic maps for gps
receivers and riding?
*learning how to create a home LAN and DIY ADSL connection setup?
*wishing hunting season was over so I'se can ride again?
*wondering who the SOB's are that gave out my email address to all those spammers!
*if anybody has GPS "trackfiles" of their Hatfield-McCoy rides,
and what is the name of the USGS quadrangle of that riding area?
*How the H... to stop the rim leak on my back tire?
I've got others, but this'll do. What're yours?

Add one more "18 year old trapped in a 47 year old body. I prefer to take it easy on the trails and soak up the views.

Great job everyone! I thought I was the only "OLD GUY" that read these Forums.
47 years of experience here. I tell my wife I didn't have any gray hair when I meet her, She says I didn't have any fun til I meet her!
