I have seen some spray on cleaners at the bike shops I visit do they work? I go in the mud alot and would like to
keep the new look as long as I can. I hear that some auto cleaners work good and house hold stuff like 409.
What is the best?

I have had good luck using Wisk laundry detergent in a solution of about 20% Wisk and 80% water in a spray bottle. Simply spray it on and let it work for about 10 minutes. Scrub heavy areas and rinse. This is an inexpensive method and seems to really work well.

Thanks, for the info. With a nickname MagnumMudMan I think he is speaking from the mud. I like Castrol products to. I just want something to get the milky muddy look off the frame and motor area after you get the heavy mud off. I will try them all out. April
showers are here.
Dont drive two hours and unload to go around it,bust it!!!!!

Prevention.

Spray "MuddOff" on the quad before you go riding. It works real good and makes cleanup ALOT easier. Most of the mud will fall off when it dries, so there is little cleanup by the time you get home.

You can purchase "MuddOff" on-line at Dennis Kirk (I found it in their new catalog), or check your local speed shops. My ridding buddy buys it by the gallon, dilutes it, then puts in in a regular pump up bug sprayer. The quarter midget crowd has been using this for years to keep the mud from accumulating on the vehicle, adding extra weight and basically slowing the card down.

Best thing to do is coat the whole thing with WD40 and the mud comes off real easy.
