Top speed is meaningless in 98% of all riding. There's this thing called handling and overall feel also that make a quad a winner, not just speed...
My DS, Banshee, Warrior, is faster then your Z, Raptor, 300ex.

Yeah, I say it doesn't matter, but the first thing I do when a similar style quad pulls along side me is set up some kind of speed race. Just the kid coming out in me!

Well, for me I'm a lousy rider so all I got to brag about is speed. I can hardly jump and fall off my quad if I go around a corner too fast. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I'm kind of joking but speed and drag racing is probably the only type of racing that has the least to do with skill and the most to do with the machine itself. I guess that's why these posts are so common.
